Cipher: Series 5 Set Release & Promo Information

Last week, Fire Emblem Cipher released its 5th series in Japan. Titled Overcoming Rivalry, this addition to the Cipher card game introduced characters from Binding Blade and Radiant Dawn as well as a profusion of changes. As usual, the Series 5 booster boxes come with a few tempting gifts in addition to the booster packs themselves. These include preview promos for Series 6, featuring either Sigurd from Genealogy of the Holy War or Xander from Fire Emblem Fates, plus small packs of card sleeves depicting the box art of the featured S5 games.

UK: Fire Emblem Cosplay Contest at Hyper Japan

Fire Emblem fans in the UK have another chance to win and have some fun courtesy of Nintendo UK!

On the third day (17th July 2016) of the Hyper Japan Festival 2016 in London, Nintendo UK is holding a Fire Emblem Cosplay Contest with plenty of impressive prizes up for grabs, including the Fates Limited Edition.

Friday saw the triumphant launch of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE in the West. Thanks to the generosity of Nintendo UK, we’re giving three lucky people from the UK a chance to win a digital copy of the game.

To enter, simply write a caption for one of the blank caption images below, then e-mail it along with the following details to princereyson10atgmail.com, with the subject heading “TMS#FE UK Giveaway”.

  • Caption number (shown on the bottom-right corner of each image)
  • Your caption (as text, not as an image)
  • Your full name (this will only be used if you’re a winner)

The three who submit the funniest or most interesting caption, as voted by our staff, before 4th July 2016 will each be sent a download code for the UK version of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE to the e-mail used for the giveaway.

Update: We’ve magically been given two more download codes, so there will be three winners and not one!

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Now Available for NA & EU

That’s right! TMS #FE is now available for download from the eShops of Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe, as well as shelves of stores today.

If you weren’t sure about the game’s reception, reviews for the game have been above average. You’re hard pressed to see a rough review of TMS #FE, as the median has the game scoring a pretty solid 8/10 across dozens of reviewing organizations, rarely going more than +/- 1 point either way.

If you find yourself enjoying the game and wanting to do more with it, we here at Serenes Forest are looking for knowledgeable and passionate volunteers who can help build and manage the TMS#FE section.

Right now, the most efficient way for others to add content is via our wiki. We’ve had great success with the Berwick Saga section and our recent Cipher section, and aren’t opposed to branding into the TMS #FE world as well. If you’re interested in applying for a role, let us know in this thread!
