This past Saturday, the Fire Emblem Cipher team held another successful livestream over NicoNico! Ryota Kawade (Cipher Producer) and Young (Intelligent Systems) were joined once again by Eri Suzuki (voice of Soleil, Delthea, and Emma) to start off the show.
The main focus of the stream was to show off cards from Series 10, Crossroads, which releases this week on 21 September. The set contains cards from Thracia 776, Fates, and Fire Emblem Heroes. We also got to have some fun with a few other guests, and get a few more tidbits of news and art for upcoming Cipher sets and events.
On 19 August, the Fire Emblem Cipher team hosted another successful livestream via NicoNico! Ryota Kawade and Young were our hosts as usual. Hibiku Yamamura, the voice actress for Rinea and Shade from Fire Emblem Echoes, also joined in as a special guest.
The stream opened up with some discussion about the upcoming release of Series 10, Crossroads, which features characters from Thracia 776, Fates, and Fire Emblem Heroes. The set will release on 21st September and the Cipher team started sharing daily card reveals just earlier this week.
Retailers in Japan will be giving out promotional Cipher gifts as part of a release campaign for S10. The items this time around are sticker sheets featuring various Cipher art! They come in two sets of three sheets which you can see here.
The stickers include artwork from throughout the whole lifespan of the game, as far back as S1’s Chrom and Marth, up to and including art from S10. If you look closely, you can even spot currently-unrevealed artwork for Finn and Anna!
Based on previous release promos, AmiAmi will likely be included in the list of approved vendors. Good news for us international Cipher fans!
This past Saturday, Ryota Kawade and Young hosted a pre-release livestream for Fire Emblem Cipher! Series 9 comes out in just a few days, so it was a perfect opportunity to show off new cards and give fans some tidbits of information about upcoming sets.
The release of S9 coincides with the 2nd Anniversary of Cipher, so everyone was ready to celebrate. The room was decorated, Kawade was dressed up as Eldigan, and they even shared a special cake!
The main focus of the stream was, of course, the upcoming Series 9 which releases on 22 June. The booster series, entitled Roaring Echoes, features cards and characters from Fire Emblem Echoes, Binding Blade, Hasha no Tsurugi, Path of Radiance, and Radiant Dawn. The ST Deck Lands of the Gods focuses solely on characters from Echoes.
WARNING: Some of the card images revealed in this article contain character and story spoilers for Fire Emblem Echoes. Please use caution if you have not yet finished the game and are looking to avoid spoilers.
Now that we’re getting closer to the Fire Emblem Cipher Series 9 release, daily reveals are finally starting! @fecipher started the flow of reveals on Monday with these two cards of Alm and Celica from Fire Emblem Echoes.
These particular cards are not actually a part of the booster series, but are instead exclusive to the structured deck. Entitled “Lands of the Gods”, the deck includes 60 cards, all of which feature characters from Echoes. Some cards are exclusive, others are reprints from the booster series. Alm and Celica will be included in both foil and non-foil varieties.
Half of the cards in the S9 booster series is made of red cards devoted to Echoes characters, while the other half is evenly split between green and purple. Among the green cards revealed this week is our first SR for Skrimir from Radiant Dawn. We also get to see Skrimir’s unpromoted card and also a card for Rafiel.
For purple cards this week, we get lovely joined art cards of Roy from Binding Blade and Al from Hasha no Tsurugi. Jemmie also gets to shine in the spotlight as a rare foil card. One of Jemmie’s card effects references having her brother, Zeed, on the field, so we can also expect to see him included in the set.
