Heroes: Cavalry Focus + Log-in Bonus Extended

Fire Emblem Heroes has two pieces of news to share today. Firstly, a Cavalry banner is now available until the new day begins on 5th August 2017.

The featured Heroes are Eldigan, Olwen and Titania. Useful if you’re still hunting for these characters or you’re still building a Horse Emblem team.

To celebrate the occasion, there will be Cavalry-related quests for the duration of the banner. Clear them all to earn 4 Orbs and a healthy amount of Universal Shards/Crystals. Full details can be found at the end.

Finally, the daily log-in bonus of 2 Orbs has been extended until the daily rollover on 28th July 2017, which coincides with the departure of the Alm’s Army and Celica’s Army banners.

Heroes: Yamada Kotaro Challenge, Berkut GHB Announcement, & Daily Quests!

A new series of Special Maps is now available in Fire Emblem Heroes! The Yamada Kotaro Challenge pits you up against heroes based on those trained by Yamada Kotaro, similar to the earlier Kozaki Yusuke Challenge. Unlike that previous challenge, Kotaro’s units now make full use of Skill Inheritance.

Yamada Kotaro’s illustration work with Fire Emblem started with Hasha no Tsurugi, a spin-off manga to Binding Blade. He is also a prolific artist for Fire Emblem Cipher, and appeared at a number of livestreams and events. For Heroes, he has illustrated Lyn, Narcian, and Bride Lyn.

The Yamada Kotaro Challenge consists of five maps available at two difficulties. Each map completion earns you one Orb for a grand total of 10 Orbs! The maps also include a series of quests. You can see a full breakdown of all quests below. The maps and their quests will be available until 25 July at 6:59am UTC.

Additionally, @FE_Heroes_JP has announced that Berkut from Fire Emblem Echoes will star in the next Grand Hero Battle! We don’t yet know what he will be like as a unit, but the twitter account did share his official Heroes artwork. The GHB is scheduled to begin next week.

Finally, a new series of Daily Quests has arrived to replace the weekly Arena quests. These short quests restart each day and give you some Shards, Crystals, and Feathers for completing simple tasks. You can see the full breakdown of the starting quests below. Likely the colours of the Shards and Crystals will change each day.
