Three Houses: “Sothis Regalia” Costume for Protagonists Available via Expansion Pass

To celebrate the end of the year, owners of the Three Houses expansion pass can download the “Sothis Regalia” costume, which lets the protagonists dress up as Sothis.

By the way, the Japanese website explicitly states that this will be the final costume DLC for the game.

Looking back at the upcoming DLC info from the Famitsu guidebook, you can see that this costume was originally part of the 4th and final wave of DLC. We translated it as “new costume(s) for male Byleth, female Byleth and Sothis”.

However, the wording was rather unclear; it was probably intended to be read as “new Sothis costumes for male Byleth and female Byleth”. Indeed, I’m sure many fans were wondering how they’d implement a costume for Sothis, who’s a NPC.

Heroes: Glorious Gifts found in Glorious Gifts Winter Banner, drops December 16

Fire Emblem Heroes is bringing out the holiday heroes with the upcoming Special Heroes (Glorious Gifts) banner.

This banner includes a new Duo Hero, a trio of alts, and a brand new skill line and a handful of awaited skills, including the Armor-exclusive Daring Fighter, and the expected Rally Atk/Res+ and Def/Res Gap 3. Additionally, the next Tempest Trials+ free unit will be an alt of Jaffar, bringing us a Green Dagger for free. Lastly, we have a new-ish unit, in Elice, the duo partner of the next bow-toting Duo Hero, Marth.

This will run from December 16 until January 16, so there is plenty of time to grab the next exciting batch of winter wonders.

Heroes: Mythic Hero Sothis, Incoming July 31 – Aug 6. Brings Male Byleth Into Summoning Pool

If you’ve paid any attention at all to Fire Emblem Three Houses, you’ll likely be aware of the eponymous girl on the throne that appeared in many trailers, as well as in the game itself. Forgive the spoilers, but that girl just so happens to be Sothis: Girl on the Throne, aka the next Mythic Hero joining the fray.

Sothis comes in as a red Resistance-blessed Dark Mythic Hero, and with her, an interesting batch of new skills. Given how [F]Byleth’s Ruptured Sky special was inheritable, it’s entirely possible that her new special, Sirius, is inheritable as well. This pairs nicely with what appears to be a very speedy build, as it scales damage off of speed, and has a lightning fast cooldown of 2.

Sothis of course brings friends with her, as this is a Mythic Hero Banner, and includes its standard 8% limited summoning condition on all included. The batch this time features:

  • Colorless
    • Alm (Legendary)

Three Houses: Official Character Videos and Profiles (Part 1)

Following last week’s Famitsu article, Nintendo has started posting videos and characters profiles for Three Houses on their Twitter and Facebook accounts.

In this article, we’ve collected all the videos and profiles released so far–for the 5 characters introduced in Famitsu. The videos are from the Japanese Fire Emblem Twitter account, while the profiles are from the Fire Emblem UK Facebook page.

Currently, it’s not known if they’ll continue posting more characters. Hopefully they do, because there are a fair amount of characters (at least 7 for each house) that they need to get through, ideally before 26th July.

Note: Any additional character posts made before the end of this week will be added here. Update: Jeralt and Rhea have been added.

Protagonist


In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, you’ll begin as a travelling mercenary in a group led by your father, Jeralt. After an unexpected incident reveals your hidden power, you’ll be invited to become a professor at Garreg Mach Monastery.

As a professor, lead students in their academic lives and on the battlefield when Fire Emblem: Three Houses launches for Nintendo Switch on July 26.
