Heroes: Details for July-bound Version 4.7.0 Update & Upcoming Father-Complex Voting Gauntlet

With July just around the corner, Feh has shared details of the next version update (4.7.0), which is scheduled for 6th July (UTC).

Firstly, the following Heroes will receive new weapons skills and/or refines:

  • Berkut: Dark Royal Spear (+refine)
  • Sheena: Crimson Axe (+refine)
  • Female Corrin: Gloom Breath (+refine)
  • Fallen Celica: Beloved Zofia refine

Next, starting from Version 4.7.0, Summoners will receive Divine Codes (Ephemera 7) from events. These can be exchanged for the following combat manuals:

  • 4-star Roy, Silas, Odin, Echidna and Legault

For the more minor additions, please skip to the end of this article!

In case you missed it, an “interesting” Voting Gauntlet will begin on 1st July (UTC). “Father-Complex Fray” features Heroes who have awkward relationships with their fathers. We couldn’t make this up!

The initial brackets are: Altena vs Michalis, Alfonse vs Xander, Mareeta vs Lloyd and Ross vs Annette.

Michalis, Xander and Lloyd can be summoned using Heroic Grails and everybody should have an Alfonse on the bench. As for the rest (Ross, Altena, Annette and Mareeta), there’s a Voting Gauntlet banner featuring them.

New Vestaria Saga Side-story “Norden Civil War” Currently In Production

Recently, S_Kaga unveiled a prototype for a new Vestaria Saga side-story on his blog. Known as Vestaria Saga Gaiden: Norden Civil War, it focuses on the conflict within the Kingdom of Norden and occurs around the same time as another side-story, Holy Sword of Silvanister.

(Many thanks to MovesetMaker for sharing this info via Reddit. Screenshots belong to S_Kaga and Vestaria Project.)

For reference, Norden Civil War is actually the 3rd side-story in the Vestaria Saga series. A full sequel “Vestaria Saga II” is also in the works, although it’ll be longer before it comes into fruition. The original Vestaria Saga was released back in 2016 and officially localised during 2019.

Unlike the other games in the series, Norden Civil War is not a traditional Strategy RPG, like the Fire Emblem games. Instead, it’s a territorial-based strategy game, similar to “Nobunaga’s Ambition”. The reason for the genre change is because S_Kaga wants to try something fresh–and because he can.

Players will be able to control up to 40 characters, each with multiple squads attached to them. The game will apparently feature a fairly realistic depiction of war, as 7 tribal nations vie for control of Norden. There isn’t a singular protagonist and the story will be quite broad, similar to TearRing Saga.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE hi-def singles digitally re-released!

Update: June 28th, 7:36 AM PT — More details regarding track availability have been added to this article.

As previously announced, Avex has officially re-released seven character theme songs from the Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE game, which are available for download now on iTunes, Recochoku, and mora music stores. Fans can enjoy these single tracks as their in-game, original full, or instrumental versions, and in even new high-resolution audio quality from Recochoku or mora!

Note: In a previous report, we mistakenly wrote that these songs would be free to download, but as it turns out, they are in fact paid purchases. We would like to apologize for the misunderstanding regarding this detail.

George Aburai, song producer at Avex, also hopes that any Tokyo Mirage Sessions fans can share their experiences of listening to these newly released versions of the songs online using the hashtags #0627幻影異聞録シングル配信 (TL: TMSJune27thSinglesRelease) and #幻影異聞録はいいぞ (TL: TMSistheBest).

The seven songs and where to download and purchase each of them are as follows:

  • Reincarnation — performed by Kiria (voice: Yoshino Nanjo)
  • Feel — performed by Tsubasa Oribe (voice: Inori Minase)
  • The Labyrinth — performed by Kiria (voice: Yoshino Nanjo)
  • Raindrop Memories — performed by Mamori Minamoto (voice: Kaori Fukuhara)
  • Dream Catcher — performed by Tsubasa Oribe & Eleonora Yumizuru (voices: Inori Minase & Ayane Sakura)
  • Give Me! — performed by Kiria & Tsubasa Oribe (voices: Yoshino Nanjo & Inori Minase)
  • She Is… — performed by Kiria & Tsubasa Oribe (voices: Yoshino Nanjo & Inori Minase)

At this time, there are no plans announced for further distribution of these songs, so anyone who doesn’t use these platforms may have to find another way to listen to these tracks.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore, the enhanced version of the game for Nintendo Switch, tells a story about Japanese young adults teaming up with Fire Emblem characters to overcome an evil through music and entertainment. The soundtrack of the game was produced with authentic talent which fans continue to come back to, so this small occasion of officially re-releasing some of the music is sure to keep fans happy until next time.
