Fire Emblem Engage: Solm & Timerra Tidbits via Twitter

We have another Fire Emblem Engage post via the official Fire Emblem Twitter, this time showcasing the Kingdom of Solm and its crown princess, Timerra.

Info for Solm:

Solm is an independent nation founded in south-east Elyos, ruled by Queen Sfoglia who values freedom.

Sfoglia is likely named after Sfogliatella, a type of pastry. All the Solmese folks we’ve seen are named after foods or dessert: Timerra (play on Tiramisu), Fogato (affogato), Pandoro, Bonet and Seadall (Seadas in the Japanese version).

Artwork and a profile card for Timerra:

Timerra (VA: Ami Koshimizu) is the crown princess of the Kingdom of Solm, and Fogato’s older sister. She has an innocent and cheerful personality, perhaps because she was brought up in freedom-loving Solm.

Although she was educated to be the next Queen, Timerra grew up extremely freely and easily gets along with anyone.

Her profile was already available via the official site, covered here, but her artwork is new. (Well, it does appear in the special edition artwork, but covered up by the other characters.)

For those wondering, Timerra’s Japanese name is Misutira, which makes the tiramisu reference even more obvious.

The next parts, I already covered in the official site analysis, but I’ll repeat it anyway.

Merchandise: Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes Soundtrack Announced!

Intelligent Systems and Koei Tecmo have announced the release of an original soundtrack (OST) for FE Warriors Three Hopes.

The soundtrack contains 118 tracks split between 4 disks and will release on 22nd March 2023, retailing at 4,950 Yen (with tax).

This is quite significant because the original FE Warriors did not get a complete soundtrack release, although there was a soundtrack included with the special edition containing most of the soundtrack.

Additionally, this news quashes any lingering hope of DLC for Three Hopes. Typically, Fire Emblem soundtracks are released once all the DLC is complete, in case the DLC features new music.

To be fair, Three Hopes is largely feature complete and a similar crossover, Persona 5 Strikers, had minimal DLC. Also, while there was a fair amount of unused data in Three Hopes, it was on the level of previous games in the series.

Anyway, full track list is below:

Fire Emblem Engage: Emblem Celica Analysis

The Japanese official Fire Emblem Twitter is showing no signs of stopping! Today’s Fire Emblem Engage content is mostly about Emblem Celica.

Before that though, here’s a little warm up:

This cutscene shows the moment Alear first runs into the Corrupted. You’ve probably seen bits of it during the debut trailer, etc. This scene may lead up to this map, where Alear and Vander are separated from Clanne and Framme.

Next, some info about the Mystical class type:

Mystical classes can ignore Avoid bonuses from terrain (such as Avoid +30 from Thicket) when casting magic.

Oddly, the example on the right side of the right screenshot depicts Lumera as a unit on the map. I see trees in the background. Does she appear as a reinforcement in the Prologue map, perhaps? Also, is she holding a sword or a staff?

Now, onto the main course:

This video goes over some of Emblem Celica’s abilities. Again, I’ve re-uploaded the video as is, without subtitles. But I’ll go over everything that’s mentioned.

Emblem Celica excels at magical attacks and fighting corrupted-type foes. Since her focus is on magical attacks, she’s an Emblem who’s well suited for units with a Mystical type.

Merchandise: Better Look at the 1/7 Veronica Figure & Message from Yusuke Kozaki

A few days ago, a 1/7 scale figure of Veronica was showcased at WonHobby Gallery 2022 AUTUMN.

Today, Intelligent Systems, as the publisher, shared an article on their website that provides a detailed look at the figure, which will release during February 2024.

Of note, there’s a 360 degree video of the figure and a message plus congratulatory artwork from Yusuke Kozaki, who designed Veronica’s original and Legendary designs.

After nearly 6 years since Fire Emblem Heroes launched, one of its original characters finally gets her own figure!

We’re also happy that it’s Veronica, who’s been with us since the very beginning.
Recently, she changed into a new outfit and she’s grown up a little appearance-wise, but even though there weren’t any plans to make a figure of her at the time, I created her outfit design so it’d look good in 3D, so I’m delighted that she’s getting a figure now.
This is a work that encapsulates the game’s world view; we hope you’ll add it to your collection and show it off…!

Yusuke Kozaki (translated)

Additionally, pre-orders for the figure are now open.

If you want, you can pre-order directly from the distributor, Good Smile Company. Below are photos from their webpage.
