Heroes: “Dark Burdens” Creeps Up with Third Wave of Fallen Heroes!

In what is now a strange and twisted tradition, Fire Emblem Heroes is bringing back more evil and corrupted versions of existing Heroes in the upcoming “Dark Burdens” summoning event.

From 8th May 2020 (UTC), Summoners can try to befriend fallen Corrin (male), Lyon, Julia and Ike. Because it’s a “New Heroes” banner, the guaranteed summon after 40 summons will be in effect.

If that’s not enough evil for you, Ashnard: Mad King will be appearing in Grand Hero Battles a day later, on 9th May 2020 (UTC).

For those curious, Fallen Ike has previously appeared in the Cipher card game (in Series 12). It seems this version of Ike has succumbed to the chaos within the medallion. Maybe next year we’ll finally get Risen King Chrom?

April Fool’s is over, so now the real Feh Channel is here! Unlike the 8-bit warm up from before, it goes over new gameplay features, including a big–and very welcome–change to the summoning system!

Also, it’s not your ears–Feh has a new English voice actress. For the last few years, she was voiced by Kimberly Tierney. However, voice recording has moved from Canada to the USA, so Feh has been re-casted (via Twitter).

Heroes: Desert Mercenaries Banner, Story Chapter, & Forging Bonds!

New heroes from The Sacred Stones have just arrived in Fire Emblem Heroes! Summon from the Desert Mercenaries banner for your chance at Ewan, Tethys, Gerik, and the new Ephraim & Lyon Duo Unit! Ross has also entered the game as a new 3/4★ unit! Check out our earlier article for their preview trailer and a text breakdown.

You can also see these new heroes in action in the latest story chapter, Marvelous Dream. Complete all five sections and their associated quests to earn up to 20 Orbs!

Furthermore, these new heroes appear in the latest edition of Forging Bonds! The introduction of the story also serves to explain how Ephraim and Lyon ended up getting associated with the rest of Gerik’s Mercenaries. Play every day to earn Orbs and other prizes and continue the story!

The Desert Mercenaries banner will last most of the rest of the month, ending on 28 November. Forging Bonds will end a week earlier on the 21st.

Lastly, Ephraim: Dynastic Duo is something of a special case this banner. Unlike the other heroes, he will not continue to be available in the regular summoning pool after this summoning event. We don’t know when he’ll be available next, so if you want to snag him, now’s your best chance!

Heroes: New Heroes (Desert Mercenaries) arrives, brings Ross into pool and Cormag into GHB status

The next Heroes banner has been announced, and it features our gang from Magvel, in New Heroes (Desert Mercenaries).

Ephraim comes in as the next Duo Hero, toting Lyon by his side. His Duo skill appears to increase the movement of adjacent (or all) allies that are not mounted by 1, which compliments Ephraim’s new Reginleif lance, which in itself, is quite the doozy of a lance.

Conveniently, his stats are revealed, so we can tell that he’s sitting on a hefty 39 Atk with which to really capitalize on his other new skill, Heavy Blade 4.

Finally, there are two other heroes to cover. The long-awaited Cormag: (a Lance Flier), is the next GHB unit; meanwhile, Ross: His Father’s Son, a Green Axe Infantry wielding a Brave Axe, joins the crew as the next non-focus 3/4 star hero.

That said, while Ross sticks around indefinitely, Ephraim+Lyon, and the rest of the crew, are available in the New Heroes banner from November 7 until November 28, so there’s plenty of time to add some Magvelian Mayhem to your roster.
