Heroes: Legendary Claude & Resplendent Elincia Incoming!

February’s Legendary Hero has been revealed as Claude: King of Unification! At long last, the heir to the Leicester Alliance ascends to Legendary status alongside his former classmates, Edelgard and Dimitri.

Claude’s Legendary banner will be available from 26th February until the daily rollover on 5th March 2021 (UTC). The following Heroes will also be on rate-up:

  • Red: Hrid, Altina and Legendary Seliph
  • Blue: Legendary Tiki, Naga and Melady
  • Green: Annette, Hel and Triandra
  • Colorless: Legendary Leif and Mila

Castle Conversations Now Live! Features Strange Three Houses Footage (Beta?)

As promised, the “Fire Emblem Castle Conversations” video is now available to watch, via both Nintendo and Nintendo Mobile’s YouTube channels.

As expected, it contained a lot of fun chatter and insights from the 7 voice actors.

However, there was something strange in the video that has gotten fans talking.

At the 30:35 mark, while Christian LaMonte is talking, the video shows off some footage of post-timeskip Edelgard and Claude, but they’re wearing their fully promoted costume, which is impossible in the game.

This has led to speculation that more DLC for Three Houses could be coming–or maybe even an enhanced/definitive edition, similar to Persona 5 Royal. Incredible as Three Houses was, it had a lot of rough corners and bags of content that never made it into the game.

That said, the truth may be more boring than that. Twitter user @rycalochka pointed out how Edelgard’s model resembles her model from some of the earliest footage, suggesting the models in Castle Conversations are from beta footage.

Heroes: Saint Seiros is Next Mythic Hero!

Our next Mythic Hero to descend upon Fire Emblem Heroes will be Seiros: Saint of Legend! Please note that there’s a big spoiler for Three Houses if you view the trailer.

Seiros’s Mythic banner will be available from 28th January until the daily rollover on 5th February 2021 (UTC).

Joining Seiros are the following Heroes:

  • Red: Legendary Roy, Lif and Catherine
  • Blue: Legendary Julia and Legendary Dimitri
  • Green: Yune, Thrasir and Dieck
  • Colorless: Eir, Legendary Alm and Flayn

In Fodlan, Seiros was the legendary saint who clashed with Nemesis in ages past. She’s another legendary figure who’s considered a mythical presence in the world of Heroes.

Merchandise: Sword of the Creator Added to Armory Collection & Cipher Acrylic Panels

WooOooOOoOoo, we hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Today, we have some mini merchandise news to report on.

Fire Emblem Armory Collection: Sword of the Creator

Byleth’s signature weapon–the Sword of the Creator–will be added to the Armory Collection range, starting from January 2021. It’ll be priced at 4,000 Yen (without tax).

The Armory Collection was introduced in 2019 and delivered miniature versions of the protagonist’s legendary weapons. Most recently, there was an “Armory Collection Mini”, containing the House Leaders’ relics.

The Sword of the Creator measures approx. 120 mm in length, while the box is 220 x 90 x 20 mm. For more details, please refer to the product page (in Japanese).

Pre-orders are open until the end of 17th January 2021 (Japan time).

Fire Emblem Cipher A5 Acrylic Panels

Cipher may have released its final expansion last month, but its spirit is still here with us!

If you’re looking for another way to admire Cipher’s glorious artwork, Intelligent Systems is selling A5 sized acrylic panels featuring the main characters, using their panorama artwork from Series 22.

There are 13 in total: Marth, Alm + Celica, Sigurd + Seliph, Leif, Roy, Eliwood, Eirika + Ephraim, Ike, Micaiah, Chrom + Lucina, Corrin (male), Alfonse and Byleth (male).

One panel costs 4,180 Yen (with tax). Like the cards, it looks like you can stack these panels side by side to create one really long artwork.

Pre-orders will be open until 23rd November 2020 (Japan time) and products are expected to dispatch from January 2021 (2nd half).
