Dragalia Lost: Chrom, Tiki and Peony Confirmed for Upcoming Fire Emblem “Kindred Ties” Event!

Nintendo and Cygames have shared a new trailer for the second Dragalia Lost x Fire Emblem Heroes crossover event, dubbed “Kindred Ties”. This event will begin on 30th April (UTC) or 29th April (PST).

As we learned earlier, Sharena will be joining as a free Adventurer, like Alfonse in the first crossover event. Meanwhile, the Adventurers that you can summon are Chrom (from Awakening), Tiki (from Mystery of the Emblem etc.) and Peony (from FE Heroes).

We don’t have any detailed info about them right now, but from the looks of things, Sharena is a Light-attuned Lance wielder, Peony is a Light Wand user, Chrom is a Fire Sword (like his ancestor), while Tiki seems to be a Water Dagger.

Similar to Loki in the first event, it appears that Thorr will be making an appearance as an important story NPC.

Heroes: Legendary Chrom banner and Legendary Hero Battle are now live!

Today’s FE Heroes update includes the release of the latest Legendary Hero, Chrom: Crowned Exalt, along with a new Legendary Hero Battle.

You can earn a golden variant of the Wings of Darkness for completing the Abyssal difficulty, so maybe that will push you into making an effort to beat it.

If you want to see what other Heroes are available with this banner, you can read our previous news post here.

The LHB and banner will come to a close on the 5th of March 6:59am UTC.

Heroes: Legendary Hero Chrom video drops, kicks off February 27.

I sure wasn’t expecting to see Chrom in the Legendary Hero bracket, but it looks like he got his chance today, in the next Legendary Hero banner as Chrom: Crowned Exalt.

Chrom himself follows in his Legendary daughter’s footsteps as a Blue Infantry archer, but this time is of the Water blessing, has Pair Up potential and brings the Duel bonus (what the BST rating is, has not yet been confirmed). His skills are definitely geared towards either just dealing immense amounts of damage, not taking too much physical damage, and with his unusual Assist skill, has a combo once-per-turn Reposition/Dance/Rally Atk+ all in one (with a drawback to balance it out). His setup includes the following:

  • Voice: Matt Mercer | Art: Hino Shinnosuke
  • Randgridr
    • 14 Mt | 2 Rng
    • Effective vs Armors
    • Effective vs Fliers
    • Grants Atk +3.
    • If foe’s HP = 100% at start of combat, neutralizes penalties on unit and inflicts Atk/Def -6 on foe during combat.
  • To Change Fate! (Assist)
    • Moves target ally to opposite side of unit and grants another action to unit.
    • Grants Atk +6 to unit and Pair Up cohort (if any) for 1 turn.
    • Inflicts [Isolation] on unit and Pair Up cohort (if any) through their next action.
      • [Isolation] Target cannot use or be the target of Assist skills through its next action (Sing, Dance, Harsh Command+, Restore, etc.)
      • (Does not stack)
  • Close Counter (A)
  • Lull Atk/Def 3 (B)
  • Rouse Def/Res 3 (C)

Of course, Legendary Hero banners always include friends at an 8% focused summoning rate. This time, Chrom’s crew includes:

  • Blue
    • Azura (Legendary)
    • Julia (Legendary
  • Colorless
    • Alm (Legendary)
    • Corrin (Fallen)
    • Duma
  • Green
    • Gerik
    • Gunnthra
    • Lyn (Legendary)
  • Red
    • Eirika (Legendary)
    • Phina
    • Sothis

Personally, I’m going to try to use this as a chance to dive into the Colorless pool, because Alm and Corrin are pretty intense units.

This Legendary Heroes banner runs for a week, from February 27 until March 3, so if you’re after any of these Heroes, or want a beefy Blue archer, now’s a great chance!

Heroes: Chrom and Lissa Bound Hero Battle Revival

A heads up for Fire Emblem Heroes players: Chrom and Lissa’s Bound Hero Battle will be returning between now and 19th September 2018.

As with other Bound Hero Battles, you can earn a total of 9 Orbs the first time you beat all the maps on all 3 difficulties. For those who’ve already conquered Chrom and Lissa long ago, there are quests that reward additional Orbs as well.

While Bound Hero Battles might not be as exciting as Grand Hero or even Legendary Hero Battles, it’s hard to complain about more Orbs. Especially when we’re about to get four new Hero banners in four weeks (two normal ones, one Legendary and one Special)!
