Heroes: New banner “Kitsune and Wolfskin,” and new Forging Bonds event

Today sees the release of more Beast units! Fire Emblem Fates “Kitsune and Wolfskin” tribes finally make their way into Fire Emblem Heroes.

The Heroes are Selkie: Free Spirit, Kaden: Kitsune Braggart, Velouria: Wolf Cub, and Keaton: Lupine Collector.

The banner begins today, and will come to a close on the 8th of March, 6:59am UTC.

Coinciding with the new banner is a new Forging Bonds event featuring the four new Heroes, titled “The Orb Case.”

Earn up to 2 Orbs daily (maximum 14 Orbs), along with conversations, new accessories and materials like Heroic Grails and Feathers as you raise your bonds with the four units. You can also earn up to four First Summon Tickets that can be used for a free first summon on the new Kitsune and Wolfskin banner.

This event begins today and will end on the 6th of March, 6:59am UTC. Be sure to grab everything before it ends!

Also today: Book III, Chapter 4 “A King’s Worth” has been released. I wonder how many days have passed since Alfonse was afflicted with that death curse.

Heroes: Rulers of the Laguz Banner & Forging Bonds + New Event Calendar!

Our first four Beast units have just arrived in Fire Emblem Heroes! Spend your Orbs on the Rulers of the Laguz Banner for your shot at Tibarn, Reyson, Leanne, or Nailah. If you’d like to see more details, you can also check out our earlier article for their preview trailer and a text breakdown of their skills and abilities.

This banner also comes with two opportunities to see these heroes in action right away: a new main story chapter and a special event! Book III, Chapter 3: Countdown gives us our very first glimpse of the new heroes. Complete all five chapters and their associated quests to earn up to 20 Orbs!

Our four Laguz also take centre stage in the latest Forging Bonds: Hearts as One. Sharena takes the time to show everyone around the castle and the Order of Heroes.

As usual for Forging Bonds, compete in battles with accessories to gain the Friendship of our four newest allies. You’ll unlock special conversations with them, and also earn some rewards along the way!

The rewards structure has changed slightly from previous events. You now get a First Summon Ticket at 400 Friendship (instead of Hero Feathers), and also 10 Heroic Grails at 3500 (instead of one Orb). Other rewards appear to be the same.

The Rulers of the Laguz Banner will be around for about three weeks, ending on 30 January. Forging Bonds: Hearts as One will last its usual length of two weeks, ending on 25 January.

Heroes: Rulers of the Laguz Trailer & Forging Bonds + Light Blessing Quests!

Beast Heroes from Tellius are finally joining Fire Emblem Heroes! Check out the Rulers of the Laguz Trailer below for our first look at Tibarn, Leanne, Reyson, and Nailah.

These new heroes are all Laguz from Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. They also comprise a new ally type in Heroes with the “Beast” weapon type. Each comes with a new weapon and at least one other new skill. Read more down below for a text breakdown of their skills and abilities.

Our first new story chapter for Book III, “Countdown” will introduce these four new heroes to the Heroes world. They will also play a starring role in the upcoming Forging Bonds: Hearts as One.

This edition of Forging Bonds will also include some changes to the rewards structure. First Summon Tickets and Heroic Grails have both been added to the Friendship rewards tiers. Otherwise, we’ll still get our daily Orbs and earn new accessories, though we’ll need to wait for the event to start for full reward details.

Furthermore, one more new ally, Naesala, will also be available in a new Grand Hero Battle shortly after. Presumably, additional Beast-type allies will also be released throughout the year, perhaps from other games as well.

The Rulers of the Laguz banner and Forging Bonds event both start this Friday, 11 January. Naesala’s GHB will start the following day, 12 January.

Lastly, Light Blessing Quests also began yesterday! These quests require you to perform certain actions with heroes that have had a Light Blessing bestowed on them. You’ll have until 22 January to complete them. Check out full details on the Quests & Missions page in game.

The Banner and Forging Bonds this Friday are also the final events listed in our current Event Calendar. We also have another version update scheduled for early this month as well. Hopefully we’ll be getting our update and a new calendar soon!

Heroes: Legendary Heroes: Hríd Banner & Battle + Forging Bonds!

The latest Legendary Hero has arrived in Fire Emblem Heroes! You can now summon the final royal of Nifl: Hríd: Icy Blade in the Legendary Heroes: Hríd Banner. Check out our earlier article for a look at his trailer and skill breakdown.

11 other 5★ exclusive heroes will also be available this banner alongside Hríd: Laevateinn, Legendary Ryoma, Summer Cordelia, Brave Hector, Legendary Lucina, Female Kana, Summer Innes, Gunnthra, Legendary Female Robin, Summer Noire, and Nina. Best of luck summoning the heroes you most desire!

If you need a few more Orbs for this banner, Heroes has you covered. You can earn another 9 Orbs in Hríd’s Legendary Hero Battle! The Legendary Battles for Lucina, Ryoma, and Female Robin are also back as well, if you still haven’t completed all of those. Beat the Infernal level of all four battles to unlock Abyssal and more Gold Accessories!

Additionally, one more event is starting in Heroes today: Forging Bonds: The Sworn Oath. It features the four singlings of Nifl: Fjorm, Gunnthrá, Ylgr, and Hríd. It seems to take place before the events of Book II, and starts off with Ylgr having a strange dream…

Battle through the maps to raise Friendship will all four heroes and learn more of their story! You’ll also earn Orbs, Accessories, and other prizes along the way. Check out our earlier article for more details.

This edition of Forging Bonds will last for two weeks like usual, ending on 12 December.
