Heroes: Version 2.7.0 Coming Soon!

Fire Emblem Heroes has announced details for the Version 2.7.0 update arriving in early July. To prepare for the update, the game will be offline between midnight and 2 AM UTC on 9th July 2018. Afterwards, 2.7.0 should become playable.

Here are the new details, which you can also read about from the in-game notifications screen.

Tactics Drills

These are new maps intended to allow players to learn the rules of the game while playing. Players will be given a fixed set of Heroes (so they can’t use their own ones) and must overcome challenges within a certain number of “phases”. Your turn and the enemy’s turn are each counted as individual phases.

There will be 3 difficulty levels and rewards such as Orbs and Hero Feathers can be earned upon the first completion of each map.

  • Basics: These teach the basic rules of combat and are thus recommended for beginners.
  • Skill Studies: These showcase various skills.
  • Grandmaster: Maps for advanced players. Only available after claring Book I, Chapter 13 in the main story.

Additional Skill Studies and Grandmaster maps will be added every Thursday during the daily rollover.

Heroes: Voting Gauntlet Announcement + Grand Hero Battle Revival: Lyon!

Details for the next Voting Gauntlet in Fire Emblem Heroes have been revealed! Dubbed Fated Battles, the latest Voting Gauntlet pits various protagonists against their arch-nemeses: Marth, Hardin, Sigurd, Arvis, Legendary Ephraim, Lyon, Legendary Ike and Zelgius.

Here are the match-ups for the first round:

The Voting Gauntlet begins this Tuesday, 2 July and will last until 7 July. A special Log-In Bonus celebrating the upcoming event also began today. If you lack some of the Heroes taking part in the Gauntlet, you can attempt to summon them from the newly released Voting Gauntlet banner!

Included in the banner are Sigurd, Marth, Zelgius and Hardin. Note that Legendary Ephraim and Ike can be summoned from the on-going Legendary banner instead. Meanwhile if you don’t have him already, Arvis can be challenged as a rotating GHB on Sunday, 1 June.

As for Lyon, anyone who missed obtaining him or couldn’t complete his GHB maps is in luck! Grand Hero Battle Revival: Lyon is now live!

Lyon is also accompanied by a handful of new quests! Defeat Lyon’s maps under certain conditions to earn four Orbs and another 3★ copy of him. Details about the quests can be found below.

Grand Hero Battle Revival: Lyon will last until 7 July, so you have a little over a week to defeat him and snag some Orbs.

Heroes: Legendary Heroes – Hector Summoning Event!

The latest Legendary Hero in Fire Emblem Heroes has arrived! With the Legendary Heroes – Hector Summoning Focus available now, until July 5, you can now attempt to obtain the latest version of Hector! If you missed the trailer and preview of his skills, we have you covered.

11 other 5★ Heroes will join Hector, including several units from the Christmas and Love Abounds banners! They are: Legendary Ike, Christmas Tharja, Leif, Myrrh, Brave Ike, Legendary Ephraim, Love Abounds Lyn, Female Morgan, Legendary Robin (F), Elise, and Love Abounds Roy. Remember, with Legendary Banners, you have an 8% chance of pulling a 5★ focus unit, with no off focus 5★ Heroes being obtainable.

In addition to being on the latest banner, Legendary Hector appears as a boss for a series of new Special Maps. These maps are similar to BHBs and GHBs in that a single friendly unit falling in battle earns you a game over. Successful completion of all four Marquess of Ostia Hector maps will grant you a Fire Blessing, as well as nine Orbs!

The Legendary Heroes – Hector banner and his Special Maps will be available until 5 July. That gives you about a week to try your luck for Hector and earn some Orbs!

Before wrapping this up, there’s also news on the next appearance of Legendary Heroes. We’ll see Robin: Fell Vessel available in July, both Hector: Marquess of Ostia and Ike: Vanguard Legend in September and finally, Ephraim: Legendary Lord, in October. These four will only be available through other Legendary Hero summoning events, so good luck with your pulls. I wonder what’s in store for August!

One final tidbit; the Infantry Rush fix has been deployed, along with 5 orbs as compensation for any inconvenience. Don’t forget to redeem them!
