Heroes: Upcoming Tempest Trials Event Features Permadeath & Masked Lucina

An exciting new event is coming to Fire Emblem Heroes! It’s called Tempest Trials, and it’s unlike any other event that Heroes has held to date.

Each Tempest Trial consists of series of maps at varying difficulties. Complete these Trials to score points and earn rewards based on the number of points you score. One of the available rewards is the 5★ Masked Lucina that was shown during the FE Channel Livestream back in April.

In addition to the rewards given by the event itself, Heroes is also hosting a Tempest Trials Kick-Off Campaign. The campaign will reward all Heroes players based on the total number of points scored by everyone during the first five days of the event. If we reach 1 billion points by 13 June, everyone will receive 10 Orbs and 5,000 Hero Feathers!

Tempest Trials will begin on Thursday, 8 June at 7:00am UTC and last for two weeks. Read on below for a further breakdown of what we know of the event so far.

Heroes: New Quests and Rewards / Echoes: Official Screenshots

Earlier, Fire Emblem Heroes added a bunch of quests and perks for beginners; on the other side of the spectrum, a set of difficult “Lunatic Challenge” quests have just been added!

These quests last until 7th April at 7.59 AM UTC and provide expert players with a generous 20 Orbs after full completion. While they’re tough for beginners, the quests actually aren’t too hard, especially compared to the later Training Tower quests.

Players who aren’t ready for the Lunatic Challenge don’t need to feel too left out since all players have been gifted with a Log-in Bonus of 10 Orbs, 10 Stamina Potions and 5,000 Hero Feathers for smashing the early Michalis map milestones.

Besides Heroes, we’ve got some new official screenshots of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia, which releases in Japan in a month’s time and in North America, Europe, etc. in two month’s time.

Heroes: New Rewards for the Early Michalis Event!

The early bird Michalis Grand Hero Battle in Fire Emblem Heroes was a grand success! Despite only being natively advertised in Japanese versions of the game, there was a very large turnout. 54,666 people completed either version of the map, and 13,415 even cleared Lunatic mode!

Since we managed to smash all goal milestones, we have also earned full rewards. As such, players can look forward to receiving 10 Orbs, 10 Stamina Potions and 5,000 Hero Feathers sometime in the next few days.

If you missed the event, Michalis will be back this Friday at the usual time. If you need some help, feel free to visit our Heroes forum to discuss strategy. The accompanying Focus Banner that leaked last week will also arrive then if you could use an extra boost for your team. Good luck to all players!

Heroes: Special Early Event for Michalis Great Hero Battle!

The Heroes in-game notification screen popped up today with a reminder about the next Great Hero Battle starring Michalis. The event is scheduled to start on Friday, as usual. However, there was an addendum in the Japanese notification of another related event as well…

On Monday, March 20th, at 11:15am GMT, players can attempt a special early version of the Michalis Great Hero Battle. However, it will only be open for 45 minutes! Like Ursula, he will be available as both a 3★ or a 4★ Hero. In order to earn the 4★ version, you will need to complete a difficult Lunatic map.

Additionally, all players will earn rewards based on the number of people who complete the early maps.

Hard or Lunatic

  • 10,000 or more: 10 Stamina Potions
  • 20,000 or more: 5 Orbs
  • 50,000 or more: 5,000 Hero Feathers

Lunatic-only

  • 5,000 or more: 5 Orbs

This short event will only last for 45 minutes and will end at 12:00pm GMT. Good luck to all players!
